After an early breakfast, your personal safari guide will collect you from your lodge in Arusha. We'll set off for Tarangire National Park, driving through gently rolling Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. As we journey, you'll see Maasai people in their vibrant traditional dress, herding cattle and going about their daily lives.

Tarangire is a haven for large elephant herds and a host of other creatures. From the open roof of our state-of-the-art safari vehicle, we'll explore the diverse landscape of seasonal swamps and savannah, following the life-giving Tarangire River. We'll seek out zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffes, and even glimpse lions or leopards in their natural habitat. After a full day of game drives, we'll head to a well-appointed lodge where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and a relaxing night's rest.

Rise and shine! We’ll depart early for the lush highlands of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll drive down a steep track into the 600m deep caldera, a collapsed volcano teeming with life. Home to over 25,000 mammals, including all of the "Big Five"—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—the crater floor offers an unparalleled game-viewing experience.

After an extensive game drive and a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater, we'll begin our journey back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
