After breakfast, your private safari guide will collect you from your lodge. You will drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of about two and a half hours on good roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, the region's only water source during the dry season, which makes it a magnet for wildlife. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. Look out for a variety of other animals, including zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and predators like lions and leopards. This park is also a paradise for bird lovers, with more breeding species found here than anywhere else on the planet.
After a picnic lunch and an extensive game drive, you will be transferred to your accommodation in Karatu for the night.

It boasts abundant wildlife and is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration, which can be found during any given month of the year. After an early breakfast, we will descend onto the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a day of incredible wildlife viewing. Formed millions of years ago when a giant volcano collapsed, this 600m deep caldera is an enclosed ecosystem with a dense animal population. It is one of the best places in Africa to view the Big Five, as well as wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 species of birds. The crater also provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino. You will stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake before ascending the steep road out of the crater to your accommodation in Karatu.

This morning, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari—Lake Manyara National Park. This small but diverse park is famous for its shallow salt lake, which is home to thousands of flamingos. During your final game drive, you may see baboons and elephants in the thick evergreen forest, and perhaps even the famous tree-climbing lions. After a final picnic lunch, your adventure comes to an end as you say farewell to your guide and are dropped off at your chosen location (Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport).
